WHY SHOULD I HIRE A DOULA?
Mothers who use doulas report having a more positive birth experience. Studies show that having a doula can lower Cesarean rates, assisted deliveries, and reduce the need for Pitocin and pain management.
ARE DOULA SERVICES COVERED BY INSURANCE?
Birth & postpartum services may be eligible for reimbursement. Please check with your specific insurance plan or Health Savings Account (HSA) to determine eligibility. I will provide you with a superbill to submit to your plan.
